Dr Susie Gabbie

Dr Susie Gabbie is a Consultant Paediatrician with extensive NHS experience, currently based at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, London.

She qualified from the University of Bristol in 1996 and completed her postgraduate training across hospitals in the South West of England and London. Her clinical background spans emergency care, neonatal medicine and general paediatrics. Although she undertook specialist training in paediatric oncology, she ultimately pursued a career in general paediatrics, becoming a Consultant in 2009 following completion of her training at Barnet Hospital.

Susie sees children with a wide range of general paediatric concerns and values taking a holistic approach to care, supporting both children and their families to understand and manage health needs. In her NHS practice, she has a particular interest in childhood sleep problems and also serves as the Named Doctor for Child Safeguarding.

She is the Service Lead Paediatrician at the Royal Free Hospital, overseeing a large consultant team, and has a strong commitment to medical education and clinical standards. As a mother of three, Susie brings insight and understanding of the practical challenges faced by families.
